Louis Vuitton Project – 2015‘To Egg Around’ is an expression that describes a person faffing.
The initial idea derived from a nanny (a caretaker) who is tired of working and taking care after the family and decided to just do her own thing such as playing instruments. As most children somewhat rely on their nanny for help with their school work, shapes were explored through DIY-instruments and influences from toilets. The samples for this project focuse primarily on materials that can be bought from the cleaning aisle. Materials that a nanny uses to clean are used to develop handbags, textiles, monograms and textures for Louis Vuitton.
The outcome is a mock-up of my approach to reinvent Louis Vuitton’s premium handbags as well as a self-animated hologram of my bag designs for the presentation.
